On January 14th of 2018, Franky George Williams was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He is survived in death by his wife of fifty years, Linda Williams; one daughter, Mindy (Scott) Thomas; one granddaughter, Anna (Justin) King; one grandson, Tristan Thomas; brother, Jerry (Linda) Williams; brother, Clayburn (Patty) Williams; sister, Janice Gayle (Jerry) Martin; brother, Larry (Sara) Williams; sister-in-law, Linda Fay Williams; brother-in-law, Wade Martin; sister-in-law, Mary Williams; many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews, and a loving church family.
Franky married Linda, the love of his life, at the age of 19. Four years later, they had their only daughter. Shortly after, Franky accepted Jesus Christ into his heart. He was called to preach at the age of 30 and passionately served the Lord. He was the pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church for many years where he loved witnessing the young children of the church praise and honor God with their songs and testimonies.
Franky shared a special bond with his five brothers and two sisters. Throughout his childhood, Franky learned how to be a hard-worker. He loved being outdoors in his swing or working in his multiple gardens. In his spare time, he loved to puzzle with his daughter, his son-in-law, and his “KK.” He never failed to provide for his family through his hard work and perseverance. He provided “His Girls” with every need and every want. He had multiple titles throughout his life, such as: Husband, Daddy, Uncle Franky, Brother Franky, and his favorite, “Paw Paw.” He will forever live in our hearts.
Pallbearers are Scott Martin, Dusty Yarbrough, Chris Hammond, Patrick Jones, Marty Williams, and Donnie Medlen.
